The Nell Shell

Born from a long-time friendship and a shared obsession with authentic East Coast seafood, The Nell Shell brings a true taste of Maine to New Orleans. Lobster is overnighted weekly from a family-run supplier in Penobscot Bay, known for its slightly sweeter catch—you can taste the difference in every roll.

Serving lunch, happy hour, and dinner from their fully renovated vintage trailer, the menu centers on classic lobster rolls alongside fresh, seafood-forward offerings that feel both elevated and easy.

Bootsy’s

hours: Fri 3pm - 8pm, sat/sun 9am - 6pm

Bootsy’s Chicken, from the team behind Blue Oak BBQ, serves up crispy, flavor-packed fried chicken with a cult following. The menu is anchored by standout sandwiches like The Bootsy—a fried chicken thigh stacked with bold toppings—alongside fan favorites like their signature pimento cheese and “chicken boots” (popcorn chicken bites).

Frozen Yogurt

Stelly’s Froyo serves organic, small-batch frozen yogurt made with whole ingredients you can feel good about. Their menu focuses on clean, thoughtfully sourced flavors that are as refreshing as they are simple—perfect for a light treat any time of day.

Imperial

Woodpecker

A New Orleans original since the 1930s, the sno-ball is known for its soft, finely shaved ice and perfectly crafted syrups—light, fluffy, and never crunchy.

Owner Neesa Peterson grew up with this summertime tradition and later brought it to New York, where her sno-balls became a West Village favorite. She returned home in 2013 to continue sharing this simple, joyful treat in New Orleans.

Bub’s Burgers

Born as a pop-up in 2020, Bubs brings a West Coast–inspired smash burger to New Orleans with a style all its own. Their menu centers on craveable, no-frills burgers made better—featuring house-made sauces, pickles, and jalapeños, all served on soft brioche buns.

A nod to their late friend Rand Owens, who dubbed their crew “the Bubs,” the concept blends strong roots with a laid-back, high-quality approach. Whether it’s lunch, dinner, or somewhere in between, Bubs serves up consistently satisfying burgers best enjoyed with a riverfront view at The Batture.
