The Batture

Community Decency

& Guest Conduct Policy

The Batture is a shared riverfront space designed for gathering, relaxing, and enjoying time together. Please help us keep it welcoming, safe, and comfortable for everyone in the community.

  • Please be respectful of fellow guests, staff, instructors, performers, vendors, and families while enjoying The Batture. Harassment, intimidation, threatening behavior, or excessive disruption toward guests, instructors, performers, or staff will not be tolerated, including interference with private or public events, classes, performances, or normal operations.

  • Guests must comply with instructions from Batture staff, security personnel, event staff, and emergency responders.

  • Photography, filming, or recording that is intrusive, harassing, disruptive, commercial in nature, or interferes with guests, classes, performances, or activities is prohibited without prior approval from The Batture. Drone use is prohibited unless expressly authorized.

  • Guests are expected to use respectful language and wear attire appropriate for a welcoming, family-friendly public environment. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children in their care at all times.

  • Please help take care of the space and the people around you while visiting The Batture. If you come across a lost item, please turn it in to a Batture staff member. Drink responsibly and be mindful of how your actions affect others. Keep lawn games in scale with the space and the crowd. No baseballs, softballs, or other hard balls, and please use extra care with game kits on busy days.

  • Guests may not engage in illegal activity, fighting, unsafe behavior, vandalism, damage to property or landscaping, unauthorized vending, swimming in the river, entering restricted or staff-only areas, or bringing prohibited or dangerous items onto the property.

  • The Batture reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse entry, refuse service, remove individuals from the property, or prohibit future access for behavior that is disruptive, unsafe, harassing, threatening, unlawful, inappropriate, or otherwise inconsistent with maintaining a welcoming community environment.

  • Individuals directed to leave the property must do so immediately. Failure to comply may result in trespass enforcement or involvement of law enforcement.

  • These guidelines may be updated or modified at any time without notice.
